College tuition is way too high. It's no way to retake the same course again if failed. It is a must to pass the final. Tips are,
(1) Make up study with class notes and course materials. If you slept through classes, try to find class notes from classmates. Or you may help your good friends the other way around.
(2) Join TA’s review section. Sometimes, TAs release official “cheat sheet” to help you prepare and study for the final.
(3) Ask help from a private tutor.

| 2. Sell and return Textbooks after the final |
Not set-free yet. A couple of things you have to do before fully relaxing,
(1) List and sell textbooks that you believe you will never use them again. It helps to get money back for the next textbook purchase.
(2) Return textbooks to libraries/rentals to avoid penalties.
(3) List and rent out your textbooks to others who will take similar courses next semesters or quarters.

List and sell your dorm stuffs if you’re gonna move, and get money back.

(2) Do not forget to forward your mail to another temporary address during summer.

| 4. Find a storage to keep non-moving during summer break |
Find a vehicle and friends to help move stuffs to storage.
(1) Temporary storages could be a friend’s apartment, future apt. complex or rental storage units.
(2) Be careful to have more protection of something valuable or fragile, and avoid foods easily spoiled.
(3) The worse scenarios would be to take home and bring back again like a freshman.

| 5. Find an apartment next school year (or sublease out during vacancy) |
Are you kicked out from dorm due to seniority policy? That is ok. Living off campus is fun. Just be smart to get a good place for coming days. If you start earlier, you get more choices and better deals.
(1) Shop around based on your budget and acceptable commute conditions.
(2) Submit an application and you may need a co-signer to sign the lease plus deposit for reservation or on the waiting list.
(3)Find a roommate to share rent.

| 6. Set a summer goal with plans |
Summer Break is too short to waste in your whole life. Set a short-term goal and start to plan what to do and how to achieve it during summer.
(1) May consult with your academic advisors, career center consultants, parents, and friends.
(2) Find the financial support and sponsors if it takes money.

| 7. Plan your travel and parties |
Summer break is about to begin. Exploring the world and having fun will be the first priority to plan. Backpack travelling or oversea school exchange program are awaiting you. Plan and move ahead to your destination.
Besides, if you like parties, invite your best friend to your places and share them your favorites. Rebuild your energy and enjoy the summer together.

| 8. Search and get an intern |
Sharpen your sword before getting into job hunting battlefield. Earn more experience from interns to know yourself for your future career. You may not notice a lot of resources available for you at school such as,
(1) Campus Career Center
(2) Asking your professors any intern opportunities or projects from sponsor companies.
(3) Working Part-time at the place you like gives you more chance when you are able to work full time.

Lucky you! You’ve got to use this freedom to fulfill your soul emptiness. You must do things you are long for but barely got the chance. Anything like,
- Practice a band or show your talent,
- Finish a novel you’ve not had a chance,
- Build the muscle if they look weak, etc.

| 10. Something not available from School |
(1) Doing house DIY projects such as painting your room or installing a new acoustic sound system.
(2) Joining and elaborating your family business
(3) Learning and practicing more skills like cooking, computer repairing, or car fixing.
(4) Sporting for your hobbies and health.
